Tikit Partner to Insight Legal Data Migration

If you have software from Tikit TFB Partner for Windows, we are able to provide a complete data migration to the Insight Legal System.

We have performed a number of highly successful data conversions from the TFB Partner for Windows system and would be happy to put you in touch with a number of our users who previously used Partner for Windows.

TFB or Technology for Business has been providing Legal Accounts and Practice Management systems for many years. Targeting mainly larger firms, TFB has had many generations of systems over the years, most of which have had the Partner name. Partner for Windows is one of the more recent systems and utilises the Microsoft SQL Server database.

In 2008 TFB was acquired by Tikit Group and became known as Tikit TFB. In 2013 BT bought Tikit Group. TFB Partner for Windows is still provided by Tikit but is now known as P4W.

We will always want to complete a successful trial run before the final live conversion of a Tikit TFB Partner for the Windows system.

We will require a backup of your database along with copies of your Trial Balance and totals from your matter listing reports. Once we have completed the trial run, we will install the Insight Legal software onto your systems and restore a backup of the trial run data so you can check and familiarise yourselves with the converted data.

The live conversion from Tikit TFB Partner for Windows usually takes three days to complete. During this time, we can install Insight Legal Software and train you and your staff. The training can take place on the trial run conversion data so your staff can see how the system will perform using your own data.
