Insight Legal team up with Aurora New Dawn as their charity partner for 2023

Each year Insight Legal partners up with a charity and supports the partnership through a diary of events, fundraising activities and social media interaction.
2023 will be our 6th year of partnering with a charity. This scheme is a fantastic way for us to help make a difference to charities within our community.
The process to become Insight Legal’s charity partner for 2023 was simple; we asked our staff members to nominate their chosen charity and subsequently shortlisted these nominations to 3 charities that we believe have similar values to ourselves and that we could potentially partner with. We then put the charity vote out to the public to decide who they felt we should partner with.
We are now delighted to share with you that our Charity of the Year will be Aurora New Dawn
Aurora New Dawn supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking.
They work to ensure that victims voices are prioritised and provide innovative services to meet the needs of victims, one example of this is their work with the Armed Forces which provides the only multi-advocacy service to personnel and their families in the British Army.
Aurora work closely with their clients to increase their safety, reduce the risk of harm and support them in moving forward to live a life free from violence and abuse. They offer non judgmental support to all victims and survivors who need their support, you do not need to have left a relationship for them to support you, they work with you to provide you with the options you need to keep yourself and your children safe.
Dr Shonagh Dillon, CEO of Aurora New Dawn, said: “We are overjoyed to have been selected as Insight Legal’s Charity of the Year. We were up against some incredibly inspiring charities – the competition was tight, and so it means a lot that our community got behind us in this way.
“Partnerships like this are vital for our charity mission. It is through these ongoing fundraising initiatives that we are able to keep supporting the women and girls who need us most. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to keep our crucial services running.
“We are so excited to work with the team at Insight Legal to raise much needed funds for our wonderful community. We have some brilliant ideas in the works that we look forward to helping their team bring to life.”
